In class we are going to use these stories to help us determine what the important parts of a narrative are. Have a read through these - these are what we will be using for our deconstruction and to create our success criteria.

This week we are beginning a unit on algebra. Have a look at the following link to explore the algebra concept that your group is focussing on each week. Use your weekly sheet to help you find the right button to click on. If your groups is working on balancing equations make sure to watch the lesson on the following link first. This will help you to gain an understanding of the concept before you come to the teacher. If you want to challenge yourself - or challenge your parents have a go at the following algebraic reasoning questions. These will make you think outside of the box to get your answer.

At the moment in class we are learning about adaptations and how animals change one of the characteristics of MRS GREN in order to survive.

Use the following websites to help you to determine the relationship between fractions, decimals and percentages. Take notes if you need to and be prepared to discuss your learning in the first teaching session.
Over the course of the next three weeks we will be rewriting Rumpelstiltskin in a variety of styles. This video is here to help you reflect back on the story of Rumpelstiltskin if you forget key points in the plot - revisiting this story will also help you to understand this story from a variety of perspectives.
